Our mission is dedicated to advocating and facilitating free culturally appropriate and trauma-informed mental health support for child refugees affected by conflict and violence in Palestine and Sudan.

We are committed to providing a healing space that respects their experiences and fosters resilience, enabling them to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.

We also aim to provide in-kind assistance and financial aid to women and child refugees who are most disadvantaged.

TAKE ACTION

CONFLICT AND VIOLENCE

Since October 7 2023, Israeli attacks have killed over 43,362 people and over 99,795 people have been injured, according to Palestinian officials. Thousands more are missing under the rubble, most of them presumed dead

DISPLACEMENT

In Sudan, the civil war has become one of the world's largest child displacement crises, with a recorded 3.5 million children fleeing widespread violence

POVERTY

Due to forced mass migration to neighbouring countries, refugees in Egypt heavily rely on humanitarian assistance due to high non-employment rates and limited access to social services

MENTAL HEALTH

The surviving children who have endured the traumatic impact are at high risk of experiencing mental disorders, including PTSD, depression, anxiety, behavioural problems, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, as well as functional impairment

ASSISTANCE

According to some international estimates, the Republic of Egypt now exceeds 9 million immigrants. The continued influx of refugees and migrants coincides with Egypt’s worst economic recession in decades. Dramatic price increases for food and utilities are worsening living conditions for the most vulnerable population

THIS CHARITY IS DIFFERENT

100% of your donation goes towards the cause

We understand the tension between wanting to give to a cause and fully trusting how your money will be spent. We’ve been there too. So we want you to know that when you give, 100% of your donation will directly go to the work on the ground in Egypt.
